This is genuinely one of
"This is genuinely one of the most fascinating LEGO sets I've come across — and I say that as someone who usually gravitates towards aesthetically beautiful builds. The mechanics are incredibly satisfying to operate, and the Earth actually rotates the same number of times it does in real life — that detail alone had me completely hooked. There's something quietly magical about turning a little crank and watching the Earth orbit the Sun on your own desk. The movement and orbital periods are extremely accurate for a LEGO model — Earth completes 365. 5 days in one full orbit and the Moon has a 27-day orbit. As someone who wasn't a science nerd growing up, this set made me genuinely curious about astronomy. It's the kind of thing that sparks conversations. The Brothers Brick The top ring tracks the months of the year, and the gearing is cleverly designed to link the Earth's movement to the arm connecting everything together. What I loved: The printed Earth globe is beautiful — the continents and oceans are detailed and tactile. It looks stunning on a desk or bookshelf as a conversation piece The build itself is meditative — not too hard, not too easy The building process is enjoyable and accessible for builders of all levels Honest niggles: The model's visual appeal falls a little short — it lacks the finesse or intricate detailing that typically characterises LEGO sets. The Sun, for example, is plain yellow with no printing or texture, which feels like a missed opportunity. The manual contains no extra facts about the Earth's orbit or our solar system — for an educational set, this was a disappointment. A little fact booklet would have elevated the whole experience. The Moon is simply a light grey ball joint — functional, but not as charming as it could be. Overall set rating: 4/5 — brilliant concept, educational, and genuinely fun. A few finishing touches would make it perfect. Importatoy service and delivery as always, top class!"
